Job Summary:

As a Scaffolder at Tidewater Staffing, you will be responsible for erecting and dismantling scaffolding structures to provide safe access to various construction sites. Your role is crucial in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our operations. You will work closely with other team members to ensure scaffolding is set up correctly and meets all safety regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Erect and dismantle scaffolding structures, ensuring they are square, level, and secure.
• Inspect scaffolding for safety and stability.
• Follow blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine scaffold requirements.
• Maintain and repair scaffolding equipment as necessary.
• Ensure all scaffolding work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with other construction team members to coordinate scaffolding tasks.
• Perform regular inspections of scaffolding to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
• Adhere to company safety policies and procedures at all times.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Scaffolder or similar role in the Maritime industry.
• Certification or training in scaffolding safety.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work at heights.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
• Valid driver’s license (preferred).
